Bob Johnson Ford offers
certifed Ford vehicles that meets the meets the high standards that are set by Ford.
What exactly does it mean to be “Certified”? It is not a simple oil change and changing the wipers and then putting on a fancy window sticker. The process is a lot more involved than that.
# Vehicles are not any more than five model years old and cannot have more than 50,000 actual miles on the odometer.
# The vehicle begins its rigorous 115 point inspection by our certified Ford technicians.
# The inspection is broken down into four different catergories:
(If anything is found below standards, it is either repaired or replaced with genuine Motorcraft Parts.)
▪ Power Train- Engine, Transmission, and Driveline
▪ Chassis- Suspension, Steering, Brakes, and Tires
▪ Accessories- Comfort, Convenience, and Safety Features
▪ Quality- Fit, Finish, and Trim
# After the inspection is completed, it is submitted to Ford for their final approval. Ford must approve each vehicle before the reconditioning process can be completed.
# Upon approval, the vehicle receives its certified window sticker. The window sticker is evidence that the vehicle has passed it certification inspection.
# With the certification, the vehicle receives its 6 year/ 75,000 mile warranty with 24 hour roadside assistance.
