Muslim Woman status does the Quran endows for women. The details are lengthy but their gist is that Islam / Quran calls both man and woman, Zauj (counter part) to each other which means companions.

Muslim Woman: Question About Prayers

Tags:
@ 12:38 AM (5 days, 16 hours ago)

A simple conventional answer may be that we pray because our forefathers have been praying and told us to pray, this is exactly as we tell our children to pray. Traditionaly we pray because God has asked us to pray. But for many people who are sincerely searching for a more meaningful answer this may not be satisfactory. First of all God has given us freedom of choice for everything including prayers, so we do not have to pray if we do not want to. Usually we donot pray when we are enjoying the good times, but majority do this when some tragedy strikes or when we reach old age that many of us start praying regularly. For example an airplane full of people is going to crash and in this situation every one will be praying for life and survival. This instinct of self-survival is inherent in every living being including humans. But humans find themselves helpless and defenseless against many living beings and natural catastrophes. Therefore prmitive human prayed to various natural objects that threatened or benefited his survival. When human beings developed tools for self-defense and gradually advanced in science they tended to drift away from religion. They found security in science rather than prayer because science gave them control over the forces of nature. Priesthood considered this attitude as an attack on religion itself. This led to a continuous battle of religion with science. History bears ample testimony to this continuous struggle. Thus we see that there seems to be no single reason as to why people pray. Everyone can come up with his or her own answer and feel satisfied. In fact this is what we normally do. But as we mentioned before, the right answer that transcends space, time circumatance and human emotions can only come from God through his book..The Quran.

Muslim Woman And Hijab

In a society where purity is demanded of women only and men are exempted, it is useless to talk about women's rights and privileges or responsibilities which are the attributes of the equality demanded by the Quran. According to the Quran the purity of body and soul which is the hallmark of humans has equally demanded from both men and women. If keeping herself chaste is the responsibility of the woman then she has the right to demand this from the men as well. Just as it is incumbent on the woman to keep herself chaste (24:31), it has also been made obligatory for men to keep themselves chaste (24:30). In fact men have been addressed first and women afterwards.

Nationalism Is A Killer Slogan For Mankind

Dear Folks

The political objective In this world as laid down by the Quran for
humanity Is Universalism, which shall be achieved by adopting a common
code of life, obtainable from the Quranic Injunctions, laws and
permanent values. Tribal instinct persisted in all forms of living
from families and tribes to the present national states. Each social
group promotes friendship between its members and hostility towards
other group in order to maintain its own interests. Thus hostility to
the outer groups is as characteristic of nations as it was of tribes.
Every nation has feelings of ill-will and hatred towards its neighbor.
Nationalism is a feeling which is born out of hatred and lives on
enmity. It does not form merely a political grouping, instead it has
developed in to a cult which arouses in the Individual passionate
devotion to his nation and violent antipathy to other nations. Aldous
Huxley says: Nationalism leads to moral ruin because it denies
universality, denies the existence of a single God, denies the value
of the human being as a human being and because at the same time It
affirms exclusiveness, encourages variety, pride and self satisfaction
but it also stimulates hatred and proclaims the necessity and
rightness of war.

Do you have anything to say?

Muslim Woman: Importance Of Justice In Islam

Tags:

The real justice in fact is the justice based on Truth. If the law is not based on truth, then any judgment according to this law cannot be considered as meeting the requirements of justice. According to Islam, justice is one of the fundamental thing which Islamic State implement in the society, and this has been discussed in detial in the Quran. In chapter 38 verse 26 of Quran "Thus We told Daud peace be upon him to carry on with the mission of reforming the society without any fear and that We have granted you the control over the kingdom, so that you can decide on people's affairs with complete justice and equity in accordance with the Divine Laws, and do not follow (or care for) anyone's personal desires. If you were to do that then these people will lead you astray from the right path. Just remember that people go astray because they forget or ignore the Day of Accountability (which shall come as per Our Law of Mukafat) & the result is total destruction."

Muslim Woman: God Almighty

A finite thing cannot grasp an infinite object. However we know Supreme Being through his attributes given in the Quran. According to that belief in Allah Almighty (God) means to accept the sovereignty of one whose attributes are described in the Quran. The concept of a supreme authority exists amongst people all over the world even amongst the most primitive tribes; although the image and concept of that authority is different in the minds of people belonging to different tribes and different religions for e.g. Yahawa of Jews, Father of Christians, Ishwar or Paremeshwar of Hindus and Yazdan of Zoroastrians but all bear a different concept. On the other hand Allah Almighty described in the Quran is different from all of them.

Muslim Woman: Faith

Tags:
@ 02:12 AM (1 month, 24 days ago)

As every Muslim knows or should know that Iman (Faith) is the foremost and essential requirement of Islam. Without proper Iman one cannot become a Muslim even if one is born in a Muslim family. In fact Iman is something which has to be self consciously acquired in order to become a Muslim. This should have constantly maintained in order to remain a Muslim and continually reinforced and fortified in order to begin the next life as a Muslim. Unfortunately many of us take it for granted. If Iman is so important that it is the gist of life here and a savior in the hereafter, then it becomes necessary for each of us to find out what Iman really is. It is not right to say that I am a Muslim and therefore I have Iman because I was born in a Muslim family. On the other hand the Quran  does not accept this as a valid argument. What is Iman and what is its definition in the context of Islam? This is a fundamental question concerning Muslims and Islam. But one thing is quite clear: A definition of Iman which contradicts any Quranic principle cannot be accepted as Iman in Islam, no matter where and whomsoever it may have come from.
